Despite financial success with their mobile games, Nintendo is reportedly stepping back from mobile gaming in order to focus more heavily on the Switch. This is in no small part to the runaway success of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, released in April. Nintendo nor their mobile partners do not currently have any new mobile games in development.
