Far Cry: New Dawn is taking the unique style of Far Cry 5 and brings in a post-apocalyptic sequel of the previous game. The new Far Cry series has two main characters, and one of the interesting things here is that you can have improvised weapons and lots of new locations.
Far Cry: New Dawn really delivers on a different post-apocalyptic experience, and it just makes the gameplay a lot more intense and immersive than ever before. The cool thing about it is that it’s all about you trying to survive in a place where you can barely find anyone else. It is extremely difficult to get the results and value that you can expect from similar games.
Other than that, you still get the old Far Cry experience. You have missions, you need to eliminate enemies and try to complete the story. Apparently, the main villain of the first game will come back, so the ending of Far Cry 5 seems less dangerous now that you know there will be some sort of continuation.
It’s quite unusual to receive this type of expansion to a game, especially after such a short time. So it’s clear that Ubisoft planned this from the start. It might take a few years until we see a new Far Cry with another theme/setting, but for now, we can enjoy the sequel of Far Cry 5 with the release of Far Cry: New Dawn in February 15, 2019.
I personally loved Primal, so if its like a new Far Cry with a post apocalyptic setting and the same map as FC5 I’m all for it.
Ok ok I know it’s like a spin off like blood dragon was….but the knife takedown animations are back, for that sole reason I might have to buy this I just miss them so much since they weren’t in 5
Did i miss anything about enemy mechanics? its something highly talked about in previous fc games in terms of difficulty or game play.
