Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu is one of the first Pokemon RPG series created specifically for the Nintendo Switch. The interesting thing is that it’s basically an enhanced remake of the Pokemon Yellow game. There are also influences from the newer Pokemon Go. The game also has a new controller which is optional, named Poke Ball Plus.
In the game you will have to catch and also place pokemon in battle as well. The interesting thing about the game is that it encourages you to explore the world and just enjoy everything that comes in front of you. The most interesting approach in the game is that Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu is all about acquiring all these creatures, but at the same time you also have evolutions. Your pokemon can evolve, and that can be really exciting and fun if everything is handled correctly.
Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu also has candies, you can use these to increase the pokemon statistics. There’s an in game storage box that you can acquire these from. Since you have different types of candy, you can use that to identify what type of items you want and what you need to add or adapt to the situation here.
Although you can play locally without a problem, Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu does a very good job at bringing in online support. Aside from battling people online, the game also encourages you to trade pokemon if you want. There’s also an in-game location where you can explore the world and interact with creatures. All in all, Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu is an amazing, interesting title and one that does provide a lot of fun for all Pokemon owners that have a Switch.
